Together, we sit at a critical moment in the history of New Life.

It is our turn to step out in faith and be part of the next chapter God writes for New Life. I invite you to discover with me what role you can play in this vision. I truly believe the best days of New Life are ahead! Jana and I are praying for you and so excited to see what God will do as we all go on this ALL IN journey together.

Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This was the final charge Jesus gave to his disciples in Matthew 28:19-20 and these words established the mission of the Church.

For 90 years, New Life has been faithful to this biblical mandate. Our story is full of ALL IN moments where great men and women stepped out in faith to reach more people with the love of Jesus.

Troy & Jana Jones
Lead Pastors

• In 1926, our story begins with the Brandt sisters starting a Bible study in their Rainier Valley home.

• In 1942, our first pastor, William McNutt, took our fledgling church from a storefront to its first permanent building.

• In 1960, Pastor Marr constructed and moved us into a large facility in downtown Renton off of Hardie Ave.

• In 1980, the board (nicknamed the Young Turks) convinced Pastor Tappero we needed to purchase a piece of property on Maple Valley Highway (where the Renton Campus is located today).

• In 1995, Pastor Rick Ross moved us from downtown Renton to the current Renton Campus.

THE VISION

Campus Development

On October 8, 2017 we launched our fifth campus in the city of Kent! Five campuses that are fully funded, fully staffed and fully resourced. Five campuses that are serving their communities, reaching people and transforming local culture.

Missions & Ministries

From the very beginning of our story, New Life has been a strong supporter of reaching people around the world. We want to ensure every missionary we support is fully resourced. We want to build Bible Colleges and churches to empower people in other countries to reach their country for Christ. We want to ensure every ministry at each of our campuses are fully resourced and staffed to transform our region with the love of Christ.

NL Cares

God deeply cares for the helpless and the hurting. James said, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress,” James 1:27. We want to extend the love of Jesus to those at New Life and in our communities who need assistance; in times of crisis or times of celebration.

THE GOAL

ALL IN is a God-sized vision.
A $20 million campaign from 2017-2019 to accomplish everything God has called us to do. The good news is that we are not starting from zero. With the current generosity of New Lifers, we should receive $12 million over the next two years. However, we believe God has called us to so much more. With an additional $8 million we will be able to accomplish the incredible vision He has given us.
The ALL IN FUND enables New Life to fully fund all ministries, missions, and projects. As you give to the ALL IN FUND you will support:

THE FUND

WHAT IS OUR PLAN TO FUND THE ALL IN VISION?

Traditionally, churches have talked about giving in buckets such as tithe and offerings, missions, benevolence, special offerings, building fund, etc. Each of these buckets typically come with different appeals and commitments.

Instead of a fragmented approach to giving, we want to have one ALL IN Fund to enable all ministries, missions and projects. This approach reminds us that we are one church with one vision. It also streamlines our approach to giving.

By June 3rd & 4th, we will be inviting every family at New Life to make a 2 year commitment to the ALL IN Fund. We believe God will prompt one number that represents your radical, sacrificial generosity to the Kingdom over the next two years.

THE GENEROSITY LADDER

Generosity happens one step at
a time, like the rungs on a ladder.

Before beginning any joruney you must identify two things: where you are and where you want to go. The Generosity Ladder is your guide to consider your giving.

As you pray and discern how God would ask you to give during this time, ask God to inspire and challenge you towards greater generosity to fulfill our mission to: Lead peope into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7
